The Tulsa Rowing Club is an entity of the Sooner Rowing Association (SRA), which was conceived by oilman and philanthropist, Dr. Charles Oliphant, as a vehicle to promote the benefits of exercise through rowing to Tulsans and Oklahomans. His wish was to make rowing available to participants of all means, especially youth. The Tulsa Rowing Club has done that— and then some.
TRC Masters program provides rowing opportunities for adults ages 19 and over. Information about the Tulsa Youth Rowing Association (TYRA) can be found at www.okrowing.org for students 8th – 12th grades. The Masters and Youth programs compete in regattas all over the country.
As a member of the Tulsa Rowing Club, you enjoy the benefits of the most complete exercise known, using state-of the-art equipment in a facility in one of the finest rowing facilities in the region. Dues are kept low by the many generous donations made to Tulsa Rowing Club over the years and by the volunteer labor of members. You have the chance to compete against your peers and to train with members of all ages.
